The Phoenix Suns Had a Bad Week

The new season is upon us and everyone has high hopes and a lot of optimism about their teams' chances...well except for the Phoenix Suns who made some moves today to try and change the direction of their franchise.

According to Woj, the Suns have fired head coach Earl Watson after their brutal 0-3 start with losses to the Portland Trailblazers by a score of 124-76aA 48 point opening loss! Two nights later, the Suns lost a hard fought battle to the Lonzo Ball lead Los Angeles Lakers, but they gave up 132 points. Then, came last night, where the Suns lost to the Los Angeles Clippers 130-88, including getting outscored by 28 points in the second half. That has to be the end of the brutality right? Well, no.

A little bit before Woj breaks the news that Watson was fired, Suns point guard Eric Bledsoe sent out a tweet that simply said "I Dont wanna be here." I can't blame him for his frustration, but putting it on Twitter was probably not the best way to start the conversation with the franchise.

Now with that being said, the Suns really should look to move Bledsoe. Not because of him voicing his frustrations, but because this is a really young team looking to build around guys like Devin Booker, Josh Jackson and Marquese Chriss. Guys like Eric Bledsoe and Tyson Chandler may not really belong in the future plans of the organization.

Eric Bledsoe has been a very good player since coming into the league in 2011 from Kentucky. He had a nice tenure as a member of the Los Angeles Clippers, where he got to have two trips to the NBA postseason and really showed a ton of improvement from his time playing with John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins in Lexington.

After the Clippers lost rookie Milos Teodosic, the team's center, DeAndre Jordan, sent a tweet simply saying "Come back home bro" which makes people believe he is referencing Eric Bledsoe's tweet. The Clippers would make a lot of sense as a trade target for Bledsoe if the Suns do in fact grant his request.

Simply put, you may have had a bad week, but it wasn't Phoenix Suns bad.
