NKU Improves to 3-0 with a 99-59 Victory Over Wabash College

After surviving a double overtime thriller 48 hours earlier on Friday night against Northern Illinois, the NKU Norse cruised to 3-0 Sunday evening with a dominating 99-59 victory over the Wabash College. After a sloppy first three minutes, the Norse quickly took the lead and never looked back. At one point, NKU went on a 25-0 run and by the time the buzzer sounded at the end of the 1st half, Bryant Mocaby drained a buzzer beating 3 pointer pushing the Norse to a 58-26 lead.

The second half was much of the same while Wabash failed to get back into the contest. NKU lead by 51 points with 8:48 remaining. Zaynah Robinson lead the Norse, finishing with 16 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds. Tyler Sharpe provided a spark as well with 15 points, 5 rebounds & 5 steals. Jack Davidson lead Wabash with 19 points.

Zaynah Robinson said after the game, he'd like the team to improve their defensive rebounding but was overall satisfied with the team's effort.

The NKU Norse will be playing 3 games (!) next weekend at a Horizon League tournament at home against UNC Asheville (Fri Nov 16th, ESPN3), Manhattan (Sat Nov 17th, ESPN3) & Coastal Carolina (Sun Nov 18th, Fox Sports OH).
