After a heartbreaking double-overtime loss on Saturday to Texas Southern, the Norse got back on track with a victory over Midway (KY).
The Norse big three of Tyler Sharpe, Dantez Walton, and Trevon Faulkner saw limited minutes in this matchup after playing extended minutes just two days before. Tonight, the Norse got big games from transfers Bryson Langdon (17 points, 7/9 shooting), Karl Harris (first career double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds) and Adham Eleeda (10 points).
While the Norse did win convincingly, the issues we have seen from this team through the season were still very visible on Monday night. As a team, Northern Kentucky shot 61% from the free-throw line and also turned the ball over 17 times.
Up next for the Norse, a trip to Arkansas to face the Razorbacks. Arkansas is off to a 6-0 start on the season after a victory over Georgia Tech on the road in overtime on Monday night.
