Throughout the spring and summer, At Large Bid has had several commits on the podcast to discuss their commitments to Cincinnati.
This edition of "Meet the Commits" features 3* Philadelphia St. Joseph Prep School wide receiver Elijah Jones.
Jones committed to the Bearcats on June 23rd and chose Cincinnati over other offers from Boston College, Duke, Pitt, and Temple, among others.
Jones is rated the 183rd wide receiver in the country and the 42nd best player in Pennsylvania with a 247 sports grade of an 85.
A physical 5'11 175 pound slot receiver, Jones has the ability to take the top off a defense down the seam and is a willing and capable blocker within his high school offense. He is used in the flat, across the middle on drag routes, as well as go routes. He plays with two other power 5 wide receivers and is teammates with 2024 4* Cincinnati quarterback commit, Samaj Jones.
Elijah joined the At Large Bid Podcast after his commitment to discuss why he chose the Bearcats.
Cincinnati currently has the 37th best class in the 2024 class. Stay tuned to 48 minutes network as At Large Bid continues to bring more Cincinnati football content.
