We finally had fans in the stands at BB&T Arena tonight.

Between real crowd noise, a pre-game show, and a post-game press conference, we were right at home for the Norse's 2021-22 debut.

The Norse won 75-64 against Lake Erie, but their shooting left much to be desired heading into the regular season. Overall as a team, NKU shot 6/20 from three-point range and 9/19 from the free-throw line.

Though, one of the highlights from the team was their ability to attack the rim and put pressure on their opponents in transition. Freshman guard Sam Vinson started in his College hoops debut scoring nine points and adding four rebounds, 3 assists, and two steals.

Also making their NKU debuts were Detroit Mercy transfer Chris Brandon and Seybian Sims. Sophomore Marques Warrick lead the Norse in scoring with 15 points followed by Adrian Nelson and David Bohm with 12 points.

The Norse added 36 rebounds and 15 steals to the stat sheet tonight.

Up next for the Norse, the season opener hosting Wheeling Tuesday at 7PM EST.
